Will you be ready for changing building codes?

Most are aware that 2030 is the target for Net Zero building codes in Ontario and other jurisdictions. What does that mean?

Most are aware that 2030 is the target for Net Zero building codes in Ontario and other jurisdictions. What does that mean?

Although exactly what future building codes will look like in detail is still to be seen, the writing is on the wall that net-zero ready building codes are just a short way off. Building codes will also become increasingly stringent in the lead up to that net-zero threshold.

How to prepare for a net-zero future

There’s no better time than now to start preparing for the future.

If you’re local to EkoBuilt’s homebase, we’re hoping you’ll make time to come out to the Ottawa Home & Garden Show next week, to hear Paul’s presentation.

Paul will be addressing what homeowners can do to prepare for more stringent building codes in his talk:

Net Zero: A Smarter, Healthier Home to Meet the New Building Code
Friday, March 24, 2:30 to 3:30pm
Saturday, March 25, 10:30 to 11:30am

Paul will be on the main stage, and there will be time for questions after the main presentation. You can also plan to drop by the EkoBuilt booth, #1913.
